Sending Inventory to Highline Commerce (Inbound SOP)

Always create a Purchase Order (PO) in Packiyo BEFORE shipping inventory to us. This helps us receive your products quickly and accurately.

What to Send Us

Products

  • Your inventory items ready for fulfillment

  • Include packing list with quantities

Packaging Supplies (if applicable — HLC can use generic boxes & tape)

  • Shipping boxes/mailers (your preferred sizes)

  • Tissue paper or void fill

  • Insert cards, thank you notes

  • Marketing materials

  • Branded tape or stickers

  • Gift packaging options

Labels & Documents

  • Packing slip template (or let us use standard)

  • Any required regulatory documents


How to Create a PO in Packiyo

Option A: Using Packiyo's Interface (Easier for a PO with only a few SKUs)

  1. Log into Packiyo

  2. Navigate to Inbound > Purchase Orders

  3. Click "Create PO"

  4. Add each product and quantity you're sending

  5. Include expected arrival date & tracking number (highly recommended)

  6. Add any special notes

  7. Submit the PO

  8. Reference this PO number on your shipment!

Option B: Uploading a CSV File (Easier for a PO with high number of SKUs)

Labeling Requirements

Label each box clearly with:

  • Your brand name

  • PO number

  • Box number (e.g., "1 of 5")

Palletized/Freight Shipments

  • Call ahead: 1.908.758.4445

  • Schedule a delivery appointment

  • Include BOL (Bill of Lading)

Notification

  • Email us when shipment is on the way

  • Include tracking number and expected arrival (also include in PO)


What Happens After We Receive Your Shipment

  1. We receive your shipment at the dock

  2. Match it against your PO in Packiyo

  3. Inspect for any damage

  4. Count and verify quantities

  5. Check items into inventory

  6. Products become available for fulfillment

  7. You'll see updated inventory levels in Packiyo

Timeline: Inventory is received within 7 business days, often sooner. Well-labeled boxes and products help speed up the process!
