IMPORTANT: It’s important to check to see if your order is “Ready to Ship” if ever wondering why an order hasn’t been fulfilled. On the Order Details section, below the Status you’ll either see “This order is ready to ship” or you’ll see what holds or backordered items are on the order.

Order Details & Settings

Here is a list of common Order Details Settings:

  • Cancel Order: Manually cancel an order. A canceled order will not be fulfilled.

    • Note: You can un-cancel the order if you’ve accidentally canceled it

  • Status: Current status of the order (Pending, Fulfilled, Canceled)

  • Allow Partial: Allows the order to be shipped with only what is currently in stock. The rest of the order will be shipped when the backordered item(s) are restocked.

    • Use Case: A large order where one of the SKUs is out of stock for the next few months, so you want to send out the rest of the order

  • Priority: Bumps this order to the top of the picking order. Adds “priority” tag.

    • Use Case: High-priority order

  • Operator Hold: Puts a general hold on the order. The order will not be fulfilled while on hold.

    • Any reason you need to put an order on hold

  • Payment Hold: Hold for payment reasons.

  • Address Hold: Hold for address reasons.

  • Fraud Hold: Hold for fraud reasons.

  • Allocation Hold: Places a hold and the units within the order become unallocated from that order.

    • Use Case: You are running low on inventory and you’d like to allocate units to orders other than the oldest order.

      • Example: you have three units left in stock, but they’re allocated to a wholesale order that contains 10 units. This order won’t be ready to ship until you get a replenishment anyways. You can place the order on Allocation Hold and free these three units to go to out to other orders.

  • Disabled on Picking App: Order will not show up to pickers to be picked.

    • Use Case: You’re coordinating a large wholesale order with your account manager and they’ve already set the particular inventory aside.

  • Contains Alcohol: Enable if order contains alcohol

  • Insure Shipments: Currently only works for our UPS account. See more information at: Insuring Shipments

Adding Attachments & Notes

You’re able to add attachments and notes to an order. The most common uses are:

  • Add a File: Common uses are for adding packing slips on a wholesale order, uploading outside generated shipping labels, customs forms on international orders that require them, any other reason an external file may be needed for an order

  • Note to Packer: Appears to the packer when they begin packing the order. Use to inform if there are special packing or shipping instructions on an order.

  • Internal Note: Does not appear to packer or on order.

Other Sections

Shipment Tracking: Within the Shipments section you’ll be able to see when the order was fulfilled, the shipping method, and tracking number as well as view and void the shipping label. Click on the tracking number next to the “Package #” to be linked to the order tracking page.

Order Log: The Order Log allows you to see view a timeline of every change on the order. For each event you’ll be able see the timestamp, who made the update, and a note about the update.

Tags: You’ll be able to click here to add any tag that you would like to the order. Tags are used as a way to identify and group together particular orders.
